About Us

The Dollars & Sense Club is a group of aspiring Black business-minded teenagers living in South Central and Inglewood. Our goals are to improve financial literacy, analyze industries, and pursue majors in Business when we attend college. Every day, we analyze a different business to see how they work.  Having this in common we gather to help achieve our goals together.

One of the main goals of our club is to get a personal experience by talking to actual small business owners. Therefore, we regularly reach out to entrepreneurs located in Los Angeles, but primarily Inglewood to come speak at our school.

Keila Banks, class of 2020, founded this club with the idea of showcasing her leadership skills & helping her peers attend college and start their own businesses. She aspires to major in Business Administration at either Baylor University, UC Berkeley, or Prairie View A&M University.

This page will be updated with additional testimonials from club members and ambassador in Fall 2019.
